Clear, upfront payment policy
No surprises. Here's exactly how our fees, payments and turnaround work - the same information we'd tell you at the counter.
Diagnostic fees
Our diagnostic fee is $80 for PCs and Macs, or $100 for gaming and custom builds (which includes up to 2 hours of testing and inspection).
If you're dropping off your device, the diagnostic fee is due upfront at drop-off. The fee is applied toward your repair if you proceed.
Service rates
On-site service is $125 per visit with a 2-hour minimum. Remote support is $70 per hour.
Data recovery starts at $99. Hardware upgrade pricing depends on the component, labor, configuration and testing.
Accepted payments
Cash is preferred and carries no processing fees. CashApp, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Zelle are also fee-free options.
Credit cards are accepted with a 5% transaction fee. For products and streaming plans, payment is collected at the time of purchase or setup.
Payment deadline
Payment is due within 30 days from the date your repair is completed. If payment is not received within this timeframe, the device is considered forfeited and ownership transfers to GeekzUP Repairs. We make reasonable efforts to notify you of any outstanding balance first, and storage fees may apply to devices left unclaimed beyond 30 days.
Facing financial difficulties? We understand, and as long as you stay in communication we can work with you on a solution. No call and no show means your computer cannot be returned, so please keep in touch.
Turnaround & approval
Most repairs are completed the same day or next day. Advanced repairs or those requiring ordered parts may take longer, and Rush Service is available.
We always confirm the price with you before performing any repair work beyond the diagnostic.
Parts & deposits
Special-order parts may require a deposit before we place the order.
Ordered parts are non-refundable once purchased, but we'll always confirm with you first.
Your data
We treat your data with care and respect. Please back up important files when possible; we can help with backups on request.
For devices being sold or traded in, we securely wipe data before resale.
